Professional Development

Professional Development efforts aim to improve the effectiveness of corporate communications organizations and create a pipeline of better-prepared future CCOs and Page Society members. To pursue its goals, the committee is seeking sponsors for two key initiatives, the Page Up Annual Conference and the Case Study Competition.

Page Up Annual Conference: In its third full year, Page Up is a new membership organization for senior communications executives who work at Page Society member companies. Like the Page Society, Page Up offers its membership regular engagement opportunities. The organization is seeking sponsorship for its Annual Conference, to be held in the fall of 2016. The $50,000 contribution is needed to help the young organization offset expenses associated with speakers and other event costs. In addition to the many ways that Page Society sponsors are recognized for their support, Page Up sponsors will also be recognized at the Page Up Annual Conference and on the Page Society and Page Up websites.

Total Page Up Annual Conference Sponsorship Goal: $50,000

Current Available Sponsorship Opportunities:

Day 2 Breakfast – Three sponsors at $2,000 each
Day 1 or 2 Breaks – Two sponsors at $2,000 each
Day 1 or 2 Luncheon – Four sponsors at $3,000 each

Education and Business Schools – Case Study Competition: The Society, in alliance with the Institute for Public Relations sponsors an annual competition for the writing of original case studies by students enrolled in an accredited school of business, communication or journalism. These submitted case studies examine how companies are living up to the Page Principles, and student authors of winning entries and their faculty advisors are awarded cash prizes and recognized by the nation’s leading corporate communications executives. The Grand Prize winner is invited to the annual Awards Ceremony Dinner held each spring in New York.
